Well looking on the bright side there’s a bit of noise on Twitter to get people to buy the manga and it seems to be working as the first 2 volumes are on back order on CD Japan + ranked 1 & 2 on the real time rankings for manga! There is hope yet!

Really? I can't find it. I seriously hope so.

I'm usually really really lazy and don't get around to supporting manga until later on. But I just bought all the volumes digitally and ordered a set of physical ones as well.

Please support if you can, I love this series very dearly.

Oh god I wish I could, I wish I could do exactly what you did. That was my plan. But I'm a few days late, and I can't, they aren't available anymore.

I know I sound insane but if anyone can find any way for me to help support this series please let me know.

Volume four will be out (digitally) on the 23rd!

I managed to digitally purchase the volumes but can somebody (who can read Japanese) please provide a detailed purchasing guide for those outside of Japan. The kobo.com link did not allow me to purchase the volumes so I had to go through rakuten.co.jp and find the volumes there, but it turns out there are two separate purchasing flows, one of which required a (japanese?) phone number I couldn't get past and another that went through WorldShopping that actually worked. I don't feel qualified to provide this guide because I was basically clicking around blind.

Yeah, I think there was some policy change at Kobo, so even though I've been buying my raw manga there for a few years there, I can't recommend it anymore for that. BookWalker is the easier route if you don't have a Japanese address and phone number.

Volume 4 is out digitally: you can buy it from Bookwalker or Kobo.
Like the raws.

There she is, the inventor of yuri.

I'm not entirely satisfied with what seems to be Yurika's final fate, but I suppose it's unrealistic to expect more. Aoyama wants to move on, there's no evidence to charge Yurika with, and it would be too much of a diversion for the manga to focus on it further. Yurika gets to live in paranoia like we get to live with knowing this garden isn't all roses. "This is hell" may provoke disagreement; Yurika could have gotten off much worse. But it felt fittingly dramatic for 最悪; a selfish character lamenting their own karmic chargeback. Her old ribbon is tied as if to seal her fate while the windows resemble the bars of a jail. Even if not a literal one, Yurika is eternally trapped by the past while Aoyama is free to explore her future.

At last we reach the librarian. Funny how she and Aoyama were referenced in chapter 1, and some even suspected she was the one who'd written to Kasumi. Instead her involvement went much deeper.

wow yeah had Kasumi told Aoyama what she'd found or gone back to the librarian later this entire story would have turned in two vastly different directions.

Creepy ass teacher get your hands off of precious Kasumi

"I just had my fun playing around inside that system"

Could this woman be anymore of a predator and gross?

"This is hell"

Good I'm glad it's hell for her she's a disgusting person that should be locked in jail like that image projected behind her.

OH so she's the one that started this whole thing?

I bet she'd feel guilty if she knew it caused some pretty awful shit like what that creep Yurika did to Aoyama.

I'm a little disappointed that Kasumi talked about Aoyama with the teacher, even though Aoyama specifically asked her not to. I know Kasumi doesn't know what actually went on between them, but still. I'm at least glad nothing happened to her and Haruyo when they met with the teacher, and hope she rots in her guilt and worry.

Excited to see the librarian's story! I'm desperately hoping she and whoever she first exchanged letters with are still together. There's been a terrible void of cute old lady yuri ever since Hana Monogatari (the one by Schwinn) got axed.

Disappointed that we're just done with Yoopy-sensei. I wish we'd gotten the more sympathetic take and gotten more into her head. It'd be kinda trashy, but that's what I was hoping for. And I'm a sucker for characters who get villainized by the author (as in, consciously made into a villain during production). It makes me fond of them. Plus, I just like her look.

That final page of hers makes it seem like her personal arc isn't over yet

I guess Yurika's past with her own Onee-sama will remain unexplored, for now at least. I'll always be curious as to how much influence that relationship had on how she treated Aoyama.

I like it. Instead of being brought to justice, which would probably make her feel better (not because she feels guilty, but living with Damoclès's sword over her head must be terrifying), she have to live with the fact that every day is the day she could be punished for what she did. It ressemble the death penalty in Japan, as convicted prisoners don't know when they will be executed. Each day, they wake up not knowing. It's the same for her, and it's very fitted imo. She doesn't deserve closure.

I wonder how much the possible cancellation affected the series. Going to the librarian feels like a big jump compared to the other couples, who were all right next to each other in the chain of S relationships. I do hope we get back to Yurika at some point, given her name's thematic importance. I really want to know if she's been influenced by her senpai or if she really has been a terrible person all this time.

While she should be punished, maybe living in paranoia for the rest of her life is worse for Yurika. This series loves to play around with the idea of the metaphor being just as valid as the real, and her metaphorical jail is a terrible one. Plus, given that the teachers had already told her off for being too close with her students, maybe someone else will find out eventually.

Ya, it feels like we're approaching the end of the mystery soon. Maybe it was because of the digital change but i did expect more people and couples in the chain.

Yurika is stuck at the school like a ghost with unfinished business, while Ms Matsui has been tending to the books like a gardener. Of the two of them, I think Ms Matsui is the one who would be viewed by reactionary types with more suspicion, especially if anyone found out about the letter thing. If you're really stupid, a middle aged librarian lady who facilitates a secret letter exchange program primarily used by LGBTQ+ students can look like a servant of the elites aiming to corrupt young girls with the woke mind virus and brainwashing them to become gay childless cat ladies. Also, I like her design.

No, sensei, you're not being creepy at all... /s

Enjoy your hell, then. :D

And we've discovered the beginning!

I mean, whether it was affected by this or not, there really wasn't anywhere else to go from here with their investigation. Everything before sensei changed things for her own fun was a classic chain of S, so there wouldn't have been any new information to be found until digging down to the source anyway.
