^^ Not exactly. Lady's Dragonmaid is one of the few Fusion monsters that can be summoned without worrying about Dominus Impulse since alternate summoning conditions and restrictions are not effects. (If you do not understand the difference between negating a summon and negating an effect that summons, your local judge will gladly bonk you.)

Howbeit, all of Lady's Dragonmaid's effects summon stuff, making her in turn a valid Impulse target, meaning your extender/combo piece will end up a rather underwhelming 2K body on the field.

I don't think this is about gameplay; prolly just a commission.

^^ Oh my god I understood nothing except that last sentence. But thank you for the explanation nonetheless.

^ To perform a fusion summon, you normally need an effect that allows you to do that. (Like the iconic Polymerization.)

Lady's Dragonmaid is a fusion monster that can be summoned without. She also has an effect that lets you fusion summon. This allows Dragonmaid-Decks to gain a "free" fusion summon opportunity with her.

Dominus Impulse says "no" to effects that summon monsters (like fusion summoning effects).

So this is the reverse tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise: Against Dominus Impulse, Lady's Dragonmaid can summon herself but not others.
